This mornings's Perth to Melbourne train passing through the Geelong area had 82 wagons, so if the return working back to Perth is similar, it'll be a good length of train, hopefully well loaded as much more freight travels to Perth than from it.
Bear in mind these AZJ Perth-bound trains from Melbourne and Sydney have groceries and many other goods for the whole of Western Australia. I know individuals who live in the Pilbara (northwest WA) who note when there are supply chain disruptions how quickly their local WOW's shelves became devoid of some items, especially chilled dairy products, and pet food and other items manufactured largely in Victoria.
