Melbourne-Brisbane-Melbourne AZJ intermodals have ramped up to three days a week in each direction.
This footage (4:21 - no need to watch the full video) - taken sometimes since June 2024 shows the Saturday departure from Melbourne's North Dynon with a very pleasing load of equivalent to 143 TEUs (i.e. a 'TEU' is one smaller 6.1 metre long container. Most on the train are the 12.2 metre double lnegth ones, 40 foot in the old scale):
