Your posts are starting to make me feel like I own a really big train set.I bought in because i felt it is a relative safe div play.?
But now its starting to interest me as a co..
AZJ has allocated $200m plus capex for growth fy23.new carriages etc.
I would like see more emphasis on cost reduction including efficiency gains and maybe some discussions with govts regarding gauge standardization etc.
The target being for AZJ to be cheaper to rail freight containers from east to west and south to north Australia cheaper than containers from china to each state etc.
If this stupid country is to increase import replacement production and make domestic ,manufacturing viable then national freight rail competitiveness should be a priority .
