Saturday 8 July's Perth to Melbourne and return AZJ intermodal was back up to 80 wagons/platforms when it passed through North Geelong.
It's rare for rail operators to haul empty wagons around for fun so I assume at least one way, they had containers on board.
After a few weeks' operation, unpunctuality has rarely been a problem (IIRC last week's to Perth was significantly delayed but this was due to a Pacific National locomotive experiencing problems near Adelaide).
Media during the week (which I didn't keep) said that consumer spending in Western Australia was trending down, so it'll be interesting whether this adversely affects the tonnage of Team Global Express consignments despatched on these AZJ trains.
