As with any transport operator - road, rail, air or sea - AZJ is subject to delays from others, as well as the ones it creates itself.
But good that a few minutes ago on Thursday 13 July 2023, AZJ's sole (so far) weekly Perth to Melbourne intermodal (container) train under its Team Global Express passed Coonamia (near Port Pirie, South Australia) only 24 minutes late. That's pretty much 'on time' as freight goes.
