    Sorry to dampen the excitement, but the Nepean pegmatites are too close to the granite for lithium minerals to crystallise. Spodumene, lepidolite etc crystallise in complex pegmatites which are late-stage melts, plus there is a characteristic mineral zoning which puts the main lithium zone ~3 to 10km from the granite. It's the "goldilocks zone" - refer to earlier announcements by David Crook at Pioneer for a better explanation.
    At Nepean the granites are on either side just a handful of metres away.
    LIT had a lithium agreement with FML at Lepidolite Hill, which is north towards Londonderry but I think they relinquished it a while ago.

    Also of interest google "Londonderry the golden hole" for a classic gold-rush era history of one of the richest gold occurrences of its time, briefly listed on the London exchange before going bust in spectacular fashion (not a reflection on AOU in any way, just a fascinating piece of Coolgardie history). There's a Londonderry pegmatite quarry and a Londonderry gold working, near each other but not the same thing.
