Im not debating the IF, its more about the When.

The low hanging fruit of speed gains may have been made.

To turn a 100 kilo tech into a 1000 Kilo tech is a massive challenge.

Its like trying to turn a 100hp engine into a 1000hp engine without the support from Ford Racing department.

Im not saying A3D wont do it or wont get there, Im merely saying there is a decent time lag to gain that kind of boost.

Also boosting those kind of gains will surely require top down rethink from every aspect.

The 1000kg target, is obviously to make a 1000kg part, because if you just wanted 10 parts of 100kg each then you would just use 10 printers.

So we have a 1cyl engine, but we need a 10cyl V10 running the same fuel line and same drive shaft.

This isnt even basic engineering, we are talking about laster printing of powdred titanium with a 1000kg per day on a 1000kg Part made in one day.

Kooties for getting this far, but to boost 10 fold from a new speed level is a decent time lag to estimate.
