Looking at these drill intercepts you have to think AUE basically stole the Naipe deposit! Those holes would have been automatic $50 million MC for Mako nowadays given the gold price and country. Mako did struggle with consistency and the constant raises killed the company…. But you have to wonder what the company would be like now. Saying this as a previous MKG holder (who saw the problems way before the takeover) and a AUE holder (not from the conversion of MKG shares). AUE will drill this out and it’ll be decent project. MKG put a fair amount of holes and money into the ground already.
