Still going to be a choppy market for the juniors in any rise in gold. Money gets to them last or when they have a big announcement.
In the GFC all gold stocks were initially dumped along with everything else but rose quicker coming off the lows. It remains to be seen if any bank contagion spreads in USA and Europe where leverage into vampire stocks and junk bonds is legendary. Watching the bond markets closely.
AUC's pattern has been to fall away when producers rise this last year or so. Today is different.
I wonder if there's an announcement in the wings....surely not this is the ASX after all where no insider knowledge is ever passed on..
