The company is Australia’slargest defence exporter and inthe last 35 years it has contractedmore than 350 vessels across 59countries. Naval shipbuilding isexperiencing significant tailwindsglobally and ASB is positioned tobe a prime beneficiary of structuralgrowth in both the Australian and USmarkets. ASB entered FY24 with arecord contract book of ~$11 billionAUD, largely consisting of contractswith the US Navy, and recentlysigned a HoA to establish a StrategicShipbuilding Agreement with theAustralian Government to become theGovernment’s shipbuilder of choice inWA. This deal also included the awardof the “Landing Craft (Medium)” vesselprogram (BPe ~$800 million) to ASB,with the scope for further contracts,providing a deep pipeline of work forthe next decade.Buy, Price Target $2.75
