In an attempt to keep the the thread topic, as I know some posters really don't like it when it drifts.

There is full page of risks associated with the Oldfield DOCA. At the top of the list is the Gandel proceedings which were stopped when the AUL DOCA was in effect. So presumably Gandel and AUL had an agreement.

That being the case there are three possibilities:

1) Gandel continues case, Oldfield drops DOCA, Gandel wins, an AUL deal back on.

2) Gandel drops case, loses most of what it is entitled gets a couple of hundred $K and walks, Oldfield DOCA completes.

3) There is no resolution, company goes into liquidation, assets sold off.
