Give you a classic case , Otago University in NZ offers lower entry requirements for those of non white ethnicities who are applying for Medical degrees , this means there is a higher % of doctors from minority ethnicities accepted into the medical school and results in a higher % of doctors graduating from minority ethnicities than otherwise may occur .
Those minority graduates are proven to be more productive with their minority patients than their peers because they understand their patients needs better and their patients are more relaxed working with Doctors of the same ethnicity as themselves .
Yes building a truck body is different from diagnosing an illness however I suspect using different life skills from different cultures and different biological DNA of employees make up is going to result in better performance outcomes in most industries .
