Do you think CWN might still be allowed to own it, but with an independent board and management?
Obviously going against that, we have seen that Andrew Demetriou was answering to JP over the board, even though he was not a director. Also Mitchell apparently is personally (financially?) endebted to JP as well. Maybe that leaves JP needing to divest to remove that interested "power source" that has really been in charge, without being a director.
Or otherwise might they only be able to lease Barangaroo to a really independent third party operator or divest it?
And then do we want Crown running the Melb and Perth Casinos with Packer's seeming grey arrangements?
Austrac will be going in to investigate everything that has come up in the enquiry, but maybe they have a virtually open ended budget and endless time limits, by dint of the fines they can issue that can pay for their time?
