Hypothetically, if AUSTRAC impose a $10 million dollar fine which proportionally is higher than that imposed on the banks, on my calculation equates to just over 3 cents a share which could easily be absorbed in retained earnings and have no material impact on further dividends. . And that's supposing a fine being imposed - the investigation into NAB resulted in no fine. So this drop in share price is ridiculously overdone and with a 6.5 cent ff dividend coming up it makes IMHO an outstanding buying opportunity.
