you make some fair points ramstan and I don’t think there’s any arguing that austral could release news updates more often.

however when I look at the basket of junior gold explorers in my portfolio over the same time period austral is not the only name that is down. Not by a long shot.

I don’t know if you have read up on the commodity super cycles or what happens when generalist investor money starts entering the mining sector, but generally speaking there’s going to be a phase when major producers start making windfall profits that sparks a junior boom.

that hasn’t happened yet. we’re all here for when that happens.

The only real big “win” that’s really come out of the space in the last few years is Great Bear Resources.

austral is trading with the sector IMO when the junior space gets interest this will have a bid along with all the other cigarette butts that have a few good puffs left (in the words of mr. Buffett)
