Just as NR Investments bought Convertable Bonds in Glencore, I'm sure there is a lot going on with AA and its eventual disintegration as a company through a Glasenberg back door money game.
He is still very much in the game along with the rest of the Marc Rich cohorts, they can't help themselves.
BHP would be all over it with lawyers, merchant bankers, clients and any other rat in the dark corner that can not be seen. It is only a matter of time before AA will be a name of the past.
Just what part S32 has been allocated I guess we will know in time.
What ever crumbs we pick up will be a wonderful bolt on to what is I feel one of the best diversified mining houses in the world albeit we are small in comparison to the monsters that are running the ruler over anything and everything in this current cycle. It makes more sense to Bolt on and M&A or quite simply make an aggressive T/O for anything that is now deemed as critical going forward until the end of this millennia as apposed to starting from a green field and hoping for the best.
