Tshipi has an estimated 100 year life. The pillar between Tshipi and Mamatwan has been removed so is in a sense now one big mine.
The problem for a takeover might be that JMS only owns 49.9% of Tshipi so if S32 wanted full ownership of Tshipi it would have to negotiate with the other two joint owners.
However I agree a takeover of JMS would provide great benefit to S32.
