OVERVIEW

Graeme has 40 years experience in major mineral resource project
development including scoping, feasibility stages, commercial,
execution and design development, detail engineering, construction,
commercial management and dispute resolution.
In the last 25 years Graeme has filled senior executive roles on several
multi billion dollar infrastructure and resource projects.
He has developed and completed multi million dollar projects in
Australia, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and the Pacific rim filling senior
management roles for owners, contractors, consultants and financial
institutions on project delivery.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

• University degrees in engineering (civil-structural design engineer),
law, business and architecture, with a particular focus on problem
solving and dispute resolution.
• NSW Security of Payment adjudicator having adjudicated many
disputes since the Act was first introduced to the present.
• Experience in managing and resolving disputes in litigation
including:
• Tunnel collapse on the Sydney Airport railway Cooks River crossing
o delay and disruption claims
o defective design and negligence claims
o defective construction claims
• Grade 2 Arbitrator
• Court appointed referee and court expert on design and
construction related matters in excess of $60m.
• Mediator of commercial construction disputes in Australia, Africa,
the South Pacific and Asia
• Expert witness for over 30 large construction matters throughout
Australia
• Management of dispute resolution for large claims arising from
failures in Asia for Siemens Germany
• Undertook research at Sydney University over the last 15 years on
several large litigation matters to analyse structural failures as part
of resolving $50m+ claims arising from structural collapses and the
failure of high-rise buildings, some of which required urgent
evacuation and demolition, and electrical system failures.
• Working with the writers of Australian Standards where the
engineering analysis had complied with the standards but structural
failures had still occurred.
• As an AusIMM Qualified Person I signed off on bankable feasibility
studies for project financing leading to construction of resource
