    The timing of today's announcement (just as Huawei's CFO is charged) explains why TPM/VHA delayed responding to ACCC. It will have maximum impact as the two stories run on the evening news.

    Cue the average voter associating Huawei with spying/financial crimes, not a thinly veiled attempt to ensure the wedding is blessed.
