Massive pump alright, I know REE are hot recently but this sort of price action makes me wonder what is going on behind the scenes. No material news releases yet shares took off like a rocket since 8th Nov...?

Two hurdles I see AR3 need to overcome before taken seriously imo: thicker clay deposits of good grade over materially sensible area to mine, and coming up with an economic extraction process (good recoveries at achievable pH and low acid consumption or completely new left field met process). Yesterday's presso hints at maybe some good news rumours on thicker clay intersections from recent drilling...

The industry is well aware geo's ubiquitous logging best friend, the handheld XRF, provides very low detection level and quite accurate results for REE elements, especially after the machine has been 'calibrated' for a particular deposit material (comped against previous lab assays that is). I imagine the company is well aware what sort of REE numbers to expect from what samples submitted to the lab. By way of example, here is an old paper on an older handheld XRF machine proving remarkable accuracy against the lab for REE elements. Correlation to lab may be under calling slightly on Yttrium but still a very high correlation over the sort of grades in ICD deposits...

Buy the rumour sell the fact maybe, time will tell. Otherwise I have to object to the presso's insinuation that AR3 has "proven metallurgy" given the only extraction data released to date shows no to little extraction using tradition salts and low pH leach liquor, with potentially acceptable extraction rates only at pH=1 (way over any existing heap leach operation) and very high acid consumption (ie very high cost) due to high CaCO3 content in the clays. I'm waiting for AR3 to both discover economically thick REE clay deposits AND economically sensible recovery rates and costs...
