when you’ve got companies like CATL, with massive manufacturing capability, promising EVs with over 1000km range next year, that’s pretty tough to compete against. Is there really a big advantage in a 2000km EV over that? I think they’re making absolutely the right decision to focus on markets where they’ve got a game-changing advantage. And I totally don’t buy the logic that this means they must be low power - very tortuous logic to conclude that when there is absolutely no evidence they’ll have low power.
