Comes back to my last post;
I don't think everyone gets the scale of a utility retailer..... Battery storage works in a small house, small house uses 5.3MW per year. LPE work in 1,000's if not 10,000's of MWs. a consumer in a complex cant charge via solar, so LPE have to sell them all their energy, why store it when you can buy it from the NEM for 1/9th of the price /MW it costs out of a battery.
