Yes it is an interesting trend. I dealt with the very small band of brokers who existed in the lending industry in the 1970s and they were seen pretty much as hustlers. So that is a very big change in image. I have a tendency to think that it is because they are quite highly skilled in networking and marketing these days and put a lot more effort in to face to face contact with clients. It is that element of ABA's Private Bank business for high worth individuals that I like. There are still many who like the personal service and will pay for it.
