Very much so. CATL has 41M in NAL and they will get it one way or the other.
It will be interesting to see how the deal is structured. Based on the price structure that was used over at Nemaska, Sayona could be in a 50 / 50 split with IQ at a price far less than what I had anticipated. Basically IQ and Pallinghurst each will put up 73M to cover the Orion debt and and other liabilites and also pledged 300M more each to recapitalize the company but at least in the articles I have read there is no defined timeline for the 300M to be injected or even if it has to be spent. So in essence they will have taken over a company that spent over 800M trying to startup for 146M or about an 82% discount.
