environmentalists bodies always do this to try and get a better deal for the people and more money for the local governments.
i have seen this done many times with many mining company's and always even if there is evidence of a environmental issue
it is always resolved by way of diverting waste or purification methods.
this is just a scare tactic so the local people around aurthur will get the best deal possible.
there is to much employment upside for the locals for this not to go ahead.
