The other opinion is yes someone is buying those shares, but someone is also selling them. So long as the buyers have deeper pockets and intend to buy more shares then the sellers are selling, the price will rise. If however the buyers have their fill and still more want to sell the price will fall.
Over 2 million shares traded today with 2 and a half hours to go till the bell, with just over $1 spread.
There is plenty of sellers at this time.
