If you ever get the opportunity to visit the new Coles automated distribution centre, go.
It is by far the most incredible piece of machinery I have ever encountered. From the moment stock is unloaded from the delivery trucks and fed into the system, it is virtually untouched by human hands until it pops out the other end for despatch. Well worth the visit.
