    That's accurate if only considering traditional technologies that apply to using titanium. They are very expensive. Check out Titomic's 3D cold printing technology as a reference and then think out the applications they have. Then think about the fact that titanium is abundant, cheap, as strong or stronger than aluminium/scandium and can now be printed cheaply and quickly to fit industrial size applications. If Titomic's technology takes off, I'm not sure if anyone will pay that much attention to scandium/aluminium. By comparison using Sc/Al process and alloys will be like using Stone Age tools to build cars.
