Once again you do not get to the point and acknowledge I answered your question and have not answered yourself why the lack of foresight on your behalf with with your ill informed post.
You questioned why this company AUZ is going into partnerships for research about SC Alloy use which I answered. You appear to have not noticed or ignored that answer I gave.
Other lessor peers, that could be perceived as being in hibernation, should be grateful for AUZ pursuing this research into hopefully higher SC Alloy use.
The Gov seems to think this research is important hence the Grant. Could be something to do with The US , India and now The EU including it in their Critical Mineral Lists.
Bit of history for you to aid your thinking why this is important:-
The majority, ie>90% of Sc, of production in the world comes from a few mines in the old USSR now controlled by Russian Gov/Companies and China.
Now you may be able to figure out why Western Govs are calling this mineral Critical.
