Yes only Term sheet only - you will not find the word 'binding' in their announcement today - despite AUZs initial announcement regarding the TH stating it was 'binding'..
No doubt that was what caused the issue and the subsequent delay.. Rightly so the ASX would like to know if its binding or not before it goes to market..
The other thing to look at - the volumes.. The volumes don't actually ramp up until year three of the seven year deal... Nor is SK bound to anything...
Also by granting SK the option to extend for 6 years they have in effect removed their ability to negotiate elsewhere with other counter-parties so flexibility down the line is removed. Not a huge problem if things go well but nevertheless its a consideration for future years..
Yes, this is a deal - a good deal - not a GREAT deal... I don't somehow think this will double the SP overnight like a lot of the punters here think.. But hey what do I know...
