A bit of a catch 22 there. For sales to increase they need to get cheaper.
No doubt a dream to drive but I can't afford one and I am sure many in Australia won't be able to afford one with the additional "Australia Tax" (import charges) and crappy US$exchange rate that is here to stay or set to get worse.
There are no incentives here and never will be. I think it is pretty bipartisan that they will introduce an extra tax in the near future because EV users don't pay fuel excise, so there goes your savings.
Worldwide things should kick in slowly thanks to incentives but I don't see a boom just yet.
Yeah if AUZ hits $1 sure it will be a Tesla with ludicrous mode ...and maybe a nice little boat too but I don't hold that many. Wasted too much when they were over 10c and now nothing left to spend but maybe a quick gamble on VIC and if I get lucky then might be able convert to AUZ as I am sure the mid 3's will be around for a while. If VIC now drills finally and hits over 1.5c then I am good
