They had flagged this sale for the last 12-18 months very publicly - so I don't think there is any negative reaction to that - they had stated several times that management of the division were going to get 25 or 33% of the sale (I think as a retention and sale bonus) - again well publicised. If they didn't sell, presumably some/all may have walked out with the clients - much better to sell with their engagement.
I noticed no mention of taxes on sale effect on cash?
