Just watched the recording, and I am very pleased to hear some new information from Rob. There was a new slide in the presentation:


The AURA fibre technology has many applications, and correct me if i am wrong, but he did mention that they are in contact with many of their big partner clients. Hopefully, we hear news about some new contracts soon. I don't think he would include this slide in the presentation if they aren't already in contact with some big clients for all the mentioned applications.

Last thing he said: "Increases in recurring revenue is a BIG focus of the company" - they are pretty much ready to commercialise Aura IQ, and they expect to see the start of recurring revenue in FY2021.

Big year ahead for AVA. I wouldn't want to miss out on this ride for sure.

It does. Think about what it means if they can turn any underground or undersea power cable into a sensor. There is so much critical infrastructure that needs to be protected beyond just military facilities - but the integration of sensors with A.I. benefits the military and government too.

The new perimeter intrusion detection systems which incorporate artificial intelligence use advanced signal recognition software to avoid the nuisance alarms which have plagued traditional airport perimeter intrusion detection systems for years.

Mr Owen cited the example of one of this company's recent installations on the perimeter of a major gas turbine power station in one of the most lightning prone regions in the world.

"The coastal site is subject to extreme weather conditions, including cyclonic winds, year-round temperatures in the mid to high 30's, and very high levels of tropical rainfall, in excess of 4in or 100mm per hour at times," he said. "It also has one of the world's highest incidents of lightning, recording more than 30,000 lightning strikes every year yet nuisance alarms are not a problem."
