Pokali is definitely a large IOCG system and as you rightly put it's persistence in these systems by using all the tools you can in the geologist's handbag, and then you need to drill, drill, drill until you make the discovery hole.
The discovery hole at BHP's Olympic Dam (world's largest IOCG deposit) took 2yrs and 10 holes...
"The drill core from RD1 was routinely sampled and returned assays of 35m at 1% copper. Not economic at that depth, but very encouraging. In the following 2 years 8 more drill hoes were completed that contained minor copper, but then RD10 demonstrated the true potential of the area with an intersection of 145m at 2.2% copper together with uranium and gold."
I'm confident RCR will make an IOCG discovery at Pokali, however, this is being completely overshadowed by Avalon - the best geophysical target in the Arunta since WA1's Luni was discovered.
