Analysing a core sample isn’t like pressing a button on an FT-NIR machine.

You need chemical standards, calibration curves, sample prep (logging for traceability, grinding, oven acid digestion etc and sometimes the autosamplers like on a GFAAS fail. If everyone wants ICP AES/OES then guess which instrument gets backlogged?

You can’t delay results if they’re unfavourable. ASIC and the ASX would punish the company towards the point of insolvency and delisting.

no need to give any other excuse such as lab workload, if the timeframe is given so they know how long it would take then the talk of delay is all bullshit. imo.
