Here's a bit more information from a meta analysis that might help your understanding.

    https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamadermatology/fullarticle/2776177

Basically the Recell kit woul be used to facilitate "non cultured epidermal cell suspension" techniques which have been used for a long time. It's hard to say how many patients would opt for this compared with the other surgical techniques and even if they did decide to use it how many surgeons or dermatologists would decide to pay for a Recell kit on top.

Then there is the difficult problem that "significant depigmentation" recurs over time. So whether a patient would decide to go through the pain and cost of surgical repigmentation of vitiligo would depend on a lot of factors and I would imagine many people would simply opt to live with it or use make up or tanning spray/makeup instead.

As for Recell use in trauma, that would pretty much be limited to something like degloving injuries which are probably rarer than burns. Most trauma is either blunt injury with broken bones or internal injuries without much or any skin loss. Wounds are usually sutured back together. When there is skin loss there is usually other tissue missing which is far more important to manage than deciding whether or not to use a Recell kit. When the car has been totalled its a bit pointless to be talking about what style of door trim might look good. FDA approval hasn't been an obstacle to using it which would simply be a surgeons decision to use it "off label". About the only new positive might be potential for reimbursment of some kind if a Recell kit was used. But IMO the increase in revenues for FDA approval of the Recell kit for trauma would be close to "Zero Dollars".

Looking forward to seeing how this pans out in the full year revenues.
