If u read my post… it actually says it would have been resigned (not terminated) if he agreed to resign - clearly that didn’t happen I.e. Perry didn’t want to resign and the board terminated his employment…
basically from legal point of view you are looking at 3 scenarios:
1) board wanted him removed for a “good” reason (eg new strategy) & he didn’t want to resign = terminated
2) board wanted him removed for a “bad” reason (eg his stuffed up something) & he didn’t want to resign = terminated
3) board wanted him removed for “good” or “bad” reason and he agreed to resign = resigned
clearly option 3 didn’t happen and his employment was terminated, nothing that we know suggests what was the reason to terminate - all of this is a speculation…and fun way to waste ur time in the office on Friday haha
