it is unusual. it is up to shareholders. Also, CEO should maybe focus on getting sp anywhere near its historical heights instead of political non value adding, costly, board politics. if you put someone new on because you really think he or she is that good, at least make it cost neutral and get rid of some of the existing dead wood.
