Ill try and simplify it:

Epidermal layer = skin you see - ReCell targets this by spraying on stem cells from the junction of the Epidermal/Dermal junction so the visible skin can heal rather than require skin grafts.

Dermal layer = deeper skin (deep wounds and burns) - If you don't replace this in deep wounds whilst you can still get the epidermal layer to heal with ReCell over the top the results can be suboptimal as the deeper skin structure is lacking thickness. Dermal matrix products such as this new product and competing products are multiple, including the use of PNV's BTM and several others on the market all with their own benefits - but all aim to enable the healing of the deeper skin thickness (Dermal layer)

Does this make sense now?

To be clear - RecCell is the ONLY autologous spray on stem cells on the planet, with no competitors currently and none in the pipeline.
With the addition of a dermal matrix products, and dressings and other wound treatment synergies Avita medical are on track to become an entire wound care company - A "one stop" shop!

Same sales team will sell it all. So no further costs. Just more revenue.

Makes a whole lot of commercial sense. Well done to management.
