not sure where u got this information from but this is what recell has been tested and approved by the FDA:
1) direct application to acute partial-thickness thermal burn wounds in patients 18 years of age and older or
2) application in combination with meshed autografting for acute full-thickness thermal burn wounds in pediatric and adult patients
deep partial-thickness burns require a skin graft - they are not
superficial
