I’m probably at same position as you accumulating at an average SP of $3.66. But my position size places AVH at 40% of my portfolio. For a stock not making profits yet that’s a big exposure and not to mention lost income opportunity from other income generating stocks/ETFs.
100% ROI will be worth the sacrifice and risk.

It all depends on your position size. If you only had 10k invested 100% may not seem much but if you have 200+k invested 100% looks attractive.

I did a similar thing with Sirtex but did not get the chance to ride it as it got sold when I made 100% ROI.

I suspect the first reasonable offer the management will look seriously at selling to extract maximum value considering this company has had a long history of loss making to get to a profitable position. I would suspect they would steer the company to 5 years of profit from 2025 before considering a sale. This would take them to 2030. Hoping it will be $33-40 by then which will track actual earnings and >10% CAGR (compound annual growth in revenue).
