I'm guessing there's a proportion that are hedging their bets. Prior to the Q1 revenue update, it was around 500-600k. After then, it increased to 1.59M:
I could be wrong, but that equates to 12% of the RCEL shares trading on the NASDAQ (1.59M/13.36M).
If that's not correct then it works out to be 6% of the RCEL shares outstanding (1.39M/25.8M).
In any case, I'm guessing they're thinking there'll be further revenue downgrades which will lead to greater cash burn and profitability to be pushed back, removal from indices, etc. Hopefully, they don't know any other bad news and they turn out to be our friends
