Quarterly sales are just that, what you sell in that quarter. Every quarter. Doesn't matter if they are being immediately used or going into inventory. At the end of week 2 you should know what sales were for week 1. And shipped product would be tracked on a daily basis. Just no excuse for being that far off on projections 8 1/2 weeks into a quarter.
