Good question that I don't know the answer to but I'll share my thoughts anyway.
Working backwards, the three previous preliminary updates were due to a revenue downgrade or accompanied by other important updates:
April 10, 2024: AVITA Medical Updates Expected First Quarter 2024 Revenue
~ Q1 revenue downgrade with FY24 revenue at lower end of guidance
January 10, 2024: AVITA Medical Announces Preliminary 2023 Financial Highlights, Provides 2024 Financial Guidance and Business Update
~ Full enrolment of TONE study, Q4 & FY23 revenue guidance confirmed, Q1 & FY24 revenue guidance
October 18, 2023: AVITA Medical Announces Preliminary Third Quarter 2023 Financial Highlights and Secures up to $90 million of Non-Dilutive Debt Financing with OrbiMed to Support Growth Initiatives
~ Q3 & FY23 revenue guidance confirmed, OrbiMed loan
Based on the above, I'm guessing that Q224 revenue is within their guidance and they don't have any other updates that can't wait until August.
