    I hear you but I still stand by my initial point. If AVL were just a miner without vertical integration, they likely wouldn’t have developed the knowledge for battery grade production and flowsheets, then they wouldn’t have been in the frame for the first grant, and by virtue nor the second. And the elephant in the room > they also wouldn’t have timed their BFS to coincide with corporate & political awareness of VRFB’s and ballooning Li battery metal prices - making Li battery cost restrictive for the municipal Grid Scale market. Though this last part may just be coincidence but I tend to think not, given the well predicted & documented Li supply shortages.

    The grant isn’t about selling batteries per say, as you suggest. It is about battery grade v205 production however and the difference maker to the other V hopefuls, is VSun & the Kwinana plant.
