That ought to get approval IMHO. A 16.6% increase is substantial - and arguing over getting one more isn't worth the disaster a no vote would bring.

I thought the offer might be 13.25 to 13.5.

Normally the fact that they had that much more left in the tank to offer ought to see Ian resign for not getting it in the first instance IMHO, not that there's much point now. I'd guess he's the nice guy he always seemed, and perhaps more well suited to an internal role rather than MD of the new outfit.
