There is a very strong head wind for all juniors currently vying for finance due to the global market turmoil. This is unfortunate timing and can be a deal breaker on any financial front for large investors. I too am concerned that AVL is in this situation, needing a CR to complete the crucial stages now which may mean financiers are not as close as we all hope and clearly AVL are running short of funds. I don't recall AVL making statements about being fully funded through to the DFS delivery but others may be better read up on that than me.
The SPP is not great due to SP fall taking away that whole 18.8% advantage immediately but price should rebound a little as it settles I hope. That said there is no brockerage so you save yourself $19.95 on $15,000 or there abouts which is another 1734 shares ;-). Its a very small benefit I know .
My opinion is VA is doing a great job - this is not his fault IMO. This team is good, they are doing all the backend work exceptionally well, reducing risk - the play is potentially great. If it doesnt get to mine it will be the head winds that are to blame and the leader of a certain country other than ours could be held more to account on that front! IMO. Lets also not forget that other AVL Directors bought shares on market too. That shows faith within...
I remain IN! May take up the SPP too - but i'll wait a while first. Laugh heartilly if you like . May hedge a little with TMT also ... but i may not too :-/.
All my opions, make yours based on your own research.
Good luck to us all ...
