Quick question for our AVL experts. Are we planning to use solar/storage to power our mine camps and mining equipment? Just wondering if we are going the full circular route & supplying our own (Lumina/VSUN) batteries or are we using supplied grid power & diesel equipment?
Or have we not reached that planning stage yet?
Equipment wise Fortescue, Rio & BHP are going electric, or electric/hydrogen (hydrogen is a ?), with Fortescue aiming to eliminate diesel & gas by 2030.
It would be a good look & sales pitch if avl can demonstrate the full circle from pit to battery including all peripherals run off that battery technology.
