Some old info from the EPA submission by AVL for the project. Hopefully the OFS has expanded on the alternate options with reasoning and figures instead of unevidenced statements.

Still equates to a minimum of 6,570 round trips for a 140t road train per year.
Putting that into perspective, that over $25million per year for driver ($200/hr) and fuel ($2/L) alone.
Add in the other costs in the contract plus mark-up.
I'm not turning my nose up at the 900Kt of FeTi (estimate $42mill pa @ $85/t for the Fe ... no idea whether Ti would be added, or could it be seen as waste by the buyer?) ... but it seems awfully slim margin to me.
