The AVO bid is partial scrip, the RMS bid is all scrip, so both takeover values move along with the underlying SPs. AVO bid is superior right now, but what happens if RMS keep exceeding(by 2 or 3 times)their estimated grades? The first stoping ore due in January could see the RMS sp higher, and above 60c will see the offer value above $1.25 (at 2.1 RMS for 1 DIO). Why would you accept either offer now? Far better waiting to see the initial stoping grades from RMS underground. Can't see much risk here, even buying DIO near $1.25 provides an option and time to see initial RMS stope grades. Who knows, there could even be another higher bid.
